Currently, we are looking for event tents and shelters to protect volunteers from sun and rain at the registration table.

The Calgary Walk to Remember invites you to be a sponsor of our event. We are two grieving mothers, brought together by fate and heartache. Each of us lost a son; both were stillborn, on different days, in different hospitals, on opposite ends of the city, in different years. And yet, through our boys, we managed to find each other: a soft glow in rather dark and somber woods.

Each year, in Alberta, more than 15,000 babies are lost to miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death and SIDS and too often, parents are left to grieve silently. A Walk to Remember is a day to openly remember and celebrate those tiny lives that touched our hearts.  Calgary’s first Walk to Remember took place in the fall of 2013. Each year in Confederation Park, we will walk again alongside grieving mothers, fathers, and families who crave opportunities to openly remember and honour their babies who died too soon.

We are asking for your support in bringing the Calgary Walk to Remember to families again this year.
